Processor
- 2 vCore Intel® CPU
- 7. vCore Usage and CPU Utilization
- BulkVM reserves the right to implement and enforce a fair share policy for equitable vCore usage among all users. All storage VPS plans include shared CPU cores. Customers are permitted to utilize 100% of their allocated CPU for short periods to run backups, compile software, conduct benchmarks, or perform similar short-term, intensive tasks. However, the average CPU usage for a VPS customer should not exceed 25%. Utilizing more than 25% of the allocated CPU for a period longer than 1 hour is prohibited and may result in suspension or termination of service without refund. BulkVM retains the right to monitor and enforce these usage limits to ensure fair resource allocation for all users.
Network & traffic
- 15 TB Transfer + Unmetered Inbound
- 1 IPv4 + /64 IPv6
- 1 Gbit port included
- 11.1 Network Port Speeds
- Port Speed vs. Actual Throughput: BulkVM offers network port speeds of 1Gbit, 2.5Gbit, 5Gbit, and 10Gbit. All port speeds, whether included with a plan or purchased as a paid upgrade, are "up to" figures: they represent the maximum theoretical connection speed of the port, NOT guaranteed throughput speeds. Port Speed Definition: Port speeds indicate the maximum bandwidth capacity of the network interface, similar to a speed limit on a highway Network Capability vs. Attainment: BulkVM provisions its network to support the offered port speeds. Whether any given transfer reaches them depends on the customer's server, the remote endpoint, and every network in between. A 10Gbit port cannot make a remote server send or receive faster than that server and its own connection allow No Speed Guarantees: BulkVM makes NO guarantees regarding actual throughput speeds achieved by customer applications Shared Infrastructure: All network connections are shared among multiple customers and subject to network congestion Variable Performance: Actual speeds depend on numerous factors outside BulkVM's control including but not limited to: Customer server configuration, hardware limitations, and software optimization Operating system network stack configuration and driver limitations Application-specific bandwidth utilization and protocol efficiency Geographic distance and routing paths to destination servers Internet service provider limitations at customer's location Global internet congestion and peering arrangements Network protocol overhead (TCP, HTTP, SSL/TLS encryption) Firewall, security software, and network optimization settings Paid Port Upgrades: Fees for 2.5Gbit, 5Gbit, or 10Gbit port upgrades purchase a larger port capacity on the same "up to" basis. An upgraded port raises the ceiling on possible throughput; it is not a promise that any particular speed will be reached No Refunds for Throughput: Actual throughput below a port's line rate is normal and expected. It does not constitute a service defect and is not grounds for a refund, credit, or chargeback Fair Use Policy: BulkVM may limit or throttle speeds for users exceeding fair usage thresholds to ensure network quality for all customers Network Testing: Speed tests should be conducted using multiple testing methods and servers. Single test results do not constitute proof of network performance issues No SLA: Port speeds do not constitute a Service Level Agreement (SLA) or performance guarantee of any kind Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for optimizing their server configurations and applications to achieve desired performance
- 11.3 Metered Usage
- Services include metered bandwidth with a monthly transfer limit. Customers are responsible for monitoring their usage. Exceeding limits may require plan upgrades or additional bandwidth purchases. Failure to comply may result in connection speed limitations or service suspension.
Included features
- KVM + Root Access
- Instant Setup
- Commercial terms
- Minimum commitment: 1 month
- 6. Service Period
- Services are billed on a month-to-month basis unless otherwise arranged. No long-term commitment is required from either party. BulkVM may offer promotional rates for annual service commitments.
- 8. Cancellation Notice
- Users may cancel their service at any time. To avoid unwanted charges, cancel any automatic payments and provide advance notice of cancellation.
- 10.1 Price Changes
- BulkVM reserves the right to change service prices at the start of a customer's next billing cycle. Price increases may occur due to external factors affecting our costs.
- 10.2 New Order Pricing
- Listed prices are valid for new server orders only. Prices may not be applied to existing orders.
- 12.1 No SLA or Service Guarantees
- IMPORTANT NOTICE: BulkVM does NOT provide, offer, or guarantee any Service Level Agreement (SLA) or uptime commitments for any services offered. No Uptime Guarantees: BulkVM makes no guarantees regarding server uptime, availability, or accessibility No Performance Guarantees: No guarantees are provided for server performance, speed, response times, or throughput No Availability Commitments: Services may experience downtime, maintenance, or interruptions without notice or compensation No Response Time Guarantees: Support response times are provided on a best-effort basis with no guaranteed timeframes No Network Reliability Guarantees: Network connectivity, stability, or quality is provided without guarantees or commitments
- 23.1 Customer Data Responsibility
- All data stored on BulkVM services is the sole responsibility of the customer. BulkVM does not back up customer data, does not guarantee data integrity or preservation, and provides no data recovery services. Customers must maintain independent backups of all data at all times.
Platform claims — inclusion may vary
Network & traffic
- DDoS network policy
- Network-level traffic filtering through our upstream providers. Severe or sustained attacks are handled via nullrouting to protect shared infrastructure.
Published options — not included by default
Network & traffic
- Optional port upgrades and throughput conditions
- Starter and Standard include a 1 Gbit port, and Pro includes 2.5 Gbit. Port upgrades are $5/mo for 2.5 Gbit, $10/mo for 5 Gbit, and $15/mo for 10 Gbit. Your port runs at its full rate on our side. Actual transfer speeds also depend on the server at the other end and the path across the internet, same as with any host.

Unmanaged KVM. SSD boot and ZFS HDD storage are separate included volumes. Outbound transfer is bounded; only inbound is unmetered. Port speeds are advertised maxima, not throughput guarantees. Setup charges and tax treatment are not published. Exact CPU model and DDR generation are unpublished.
